8.3.10

it's been a while .

1.45pm this arvo, i received a phone call from a random number. this is how it went -

caller: "hi, may i speak to ms (insert my name) please?"
me: "yes speaking."
caller: "hi. would you like to meet some amazing girls?"
me: "sorry?"
caller: "we have some amazing girls. would you like to meet them?"
me: "sorry you've got the wrong number."
caller: "HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. SZE!!!"
me: "O-M-G YOU!!!"

my dear friend got me fooled. i seriously thought i had just wasted my moolah picking up a call from some stupid sex scam shit. so if you ever wanna fool a friend too, perhaps you can try this out. ;)

we met up in town and spent the bulk of our time in Topshop because ... ... okay there are two things you should know about my friend: 1. once she steps into Topshop, she just grabs clothes off the racks and lugs them all to the changing room. 2. she takes bloody long to decide which one(s) she'll take.

BUT, YOU KNOW I LOVE YOU BABE. =D

please meet my crazy-arsed girl in the two dresses that she got after trying on a gadzillion items.

i really liked how this white maxi looked on her and she really liked it too. but after trying on both colours at least 2 to 3 times, she decided to go with the black one as it was 'easier' to wear.

plans hardly ever work for me .

this week has been nothing but packing and moving and then more packing and moving again. it doesn't end today but it was a much needed break for my sis and i to just chill out for the day. the plan was to get up early and head to Queen Victoria Market to get our grocery done, then head to the Arts Centre Sunday Market to get some new pet bowls for my dog, Sushee, and finally to Chapel St to pop into American Apparel.

but did the plan stick through? BIG NO. because instead of waking up at 9am, we only woke up at 1pm. damn that snooze option on my mobile phone! so no fresh food in the fridge and no new AA tees in the wardrobe but at least i managed to get two new hand-painted bowls from the Arts Market for Sushee.

one of the many things to look forward to when i get home is seeing my beautiful dog every single day. i can't wait to be able to hug and squeeze her in my arms again, to bring her on her walks and to enjoy her company all over again. *cue: awww!

i recycled an outfit from here today and couldn't resist taking a photo against this huge ass warehouse door. don't you just love the colour? now, more warehouses and factories should follow suit and add colours to their doors too.

ps. i can't wait for tomorrow because i'm off to the Australian Open to watch my favourite player, Roger Federer, live in action! it will be a w e s o m e .

'tis gloomy rainy 'sun'day.

it's been a week long of sun and terrible heat but the weekend took a turn for the better. i've absolutely missed the cold weather; gloomy overcast days also puts me in a mood to wrap myself up snugly. it was really nice to finally be able to put on a jacket and a pair of leggings... and to indulge in a hot drink without having to sweat it.

swim it, sweat it, live it.

Sundays seem to have become a routine with gaoster.
we both wake late and then head out for half-priced sushi and Gloria Jeans coffee. we sit and chit chat about all things under the sun; which although may seem like a every day occurrence when you live together, it just ain't the same when you head out. it's pretty much a very lazy day.
but when we headed home today, he decided to hit the gym and i finally decide to join him and do some laps in the pool (for the very first time in my whole time living at 250E).
i don't know how some can swim non-stop for a good 10minutes cos just swimming for 20m and i'm dead beat. -_-" but i gotta say, it does feel good to start exercising again.
so gaoster and i have agreed to turn our Sundays into a less lazier day by finishing it up at the gym. hopefully, i'm on my way to burning off some of those stubborn fats and getting back into shape.

it'd be nice to be back in SICC now.
