we ate at Black Opal - beautiful interior design and friendly service but it didn't fare so well in the food department. twas bummed out by that. and as if to bum me out even more, there was construction going on below the restaurant while we were having our lunch - the worst kind of dining-ambience killer i reckon! the manager couldn't do anything about it because the construction workers were rushing an overdue deadline to complete the cable car infrastructure. so yups! we had to sit through a drill-worthy lunch. not the best lunch i've had but thought i'd share the little beauties of the humble Mount Faber that made up for the not-so-pleasant lunch experience.
Shabu Shabu Beef Salad - the only dish that i enjoyed.
i love their toilets. do you see the dresser at the back? there's actually a fish tank at the bottom! they had pretty cute fishes in there.
(little fact of the day: did you know that there's a World Toilet Organisation and that it started in Singapore in 2001? it's no wonder you can find quite a lot of pretty toilets in this small country.)
now it's time for me to head to bed!
goodnight world .
love your outfit. that bag is so cute! seriously, how is it that you are always eating at the most beautiful places???! it looks incredible! xx
ReplyDeletelove this outfit! especially the bag. the interior design of the restaurant is gorgeous, it sucks you had to listen to construction the whole time though :(
ReplyDeleteAwww, bummer about the noise! It does look a pretty place though. It's a shame the food was a bit disappointing though. It's always a bit of a bummer when you go out somewhere and are let down a bit :( On the upside, it looks like such a lush ,green area you went to.Puurdy! And fancy toilets! Ooh la la!
ReplyDeleteThat necklace looks great with the dress i must add :)
the style crusader: thanks jen! haha not always, trust me. i'm always eating at hawker centres! just so happen that my aunt came down and yeah, we had some fancy food. (:
ReplyDeleteTeacupGrunge: thanks girl! yeah that really sucked ):
dollyasylum: such noise and disappointing food are always a bummer aye. even though it's not exactly a mountain, at least Faber matched up in its green-ness! hehe. don't we all love fancy toilets!
